Indoor Air Quality Testing (AIQ)

Indoor Air Quality Testing, sometimes referred to as IAQ. IAQ consist of several types of testing that work in concert to measure the quality of the air you breathe and possible causes contributing to poor air quality. We have a saying in this field, “If you don’t have the right filter, then you are the filter”. This refers to your lungs, nature’s built in air filtration system. Many elements contribute to the quality of the air circulating through your property. Through testing and investigation we can learn about the air you breath and possible problems effecting it. Poor air quality can cause several kinds of health and safety concerns contributing to headaches, asthma and even larger health problems. Let Arrow Hawk be the breath of fresh air you need!

Mold Assessment Testing

We provide Mold Testing Services through air sampling, direct mold sampling where visible growth is present and a thorough physical on site inspection. All samples are sent to a third party independent laboratory for testing to provide fair, honest, and accurate results. We provide reports that clearly and throughly show the results from all testing and sampling. Mold is present everywhere and certain types of mold present much higher health risk than others. The only way to get the most accurate testing and to find out the types of mold present are through laboratory testing. Mold may be present while remain unseen musty smells or changes in health could be possible signs of a mold problem. Mold spores and Mycotoxins in the air can lead to smells and sickness. Radon Testing

What is Radon testing? Radon is a naturally-occurring radioactive gas that is inert, colorless and odorless and it can be found as trace amounts in the atmosphere. Outdoors, it dissipates quickly and harmlessly but trapped indoors, in places like basements, cellars, and other living spaces in contact with the ground, it can cause increased chances of lung cancer. Testing measures the picocuries per liter of air in a home. Elevated levels of Radon are found in 1 in every 15 homes.

  • Natural (naturally-occurring radioactive gas… inert, colorless, and odorless)
  • Prevention (getting testing can show risk and allow you to act to reduce chances of lung cancer from exposure )
  • Beneficial (“in house” service that keeps saves in your pocket)

Moisture Specialist

Moisture does not equal mold but it can create favorable conditions for it. Moisture damage can come in many different forms. A leaking faucet can drip up to 250 gallons of water in a single month and damages from moisture has caused nearly $2.5 million dollars in damages annually in the United States alone. The nature of how moisture progresses is what makes it an unforgiving enemy. It can start as a small leak in a roof or behind a wall and in a short time before it’s visible on the surface can cause serious damage resulting in safety concerns, from structural damage to creating conditions conducive to mold. Our technicians are trained and licensed to locate this elusive culprit or pinpoint possible areas of concern and help you avoid serious financial and property damage.

  • You’re Not Alone (moisture leaks left unchecked can cause extreme monetary and property damage)
  • Rewarding (our “in house” service can solve this issue for you)
